your back bridges over the river
of my arms
and we are the colorado
churning red with desire
under beige cliffs
hairs stand
erect from the plain of skin
your legs two cedars
locked at the roots
as the gale of our bowed limbs
beckons the breath to crack
and fall together

  1. perfect.

  2. I came across your poem while searching for something else. It’s pretty good. I like the physicality of the imagery.
