A Break

Filed under: Uncategorized — ononehand @ 9:34 pm

When you go on “a break,” which would suspend the implicit monogamy of your long-term relationship, is the “break” effective immediately, or is it delayed until the end of the day, week, or what?

  1. I say immediately.. the feeeling that it’s a break sets in right away.

  3. Hey Matt,

It’s Adam. I hope Tracey’s class was as fun for you as it was for me.

  4. Re: A Break

To me, a “break” would imply an immediate start, or else it kinda ceases to be (or never begins to be) a break. 😛

  7. ive been on both sides

its a question of respect, if you jump right into bed with someone else……….

im not judging you obviously, i have just been on both sides. i know that knowing theres someone else you wanna bone makes it easier to call it off with someone…. what do you really want?

if the boyfriend is actually a keeper then wait and see how it goes with him. sometimes a break means time apart, not lets fuck other people for a bit. so if your gonna do it anyway i dont suppose it makes any difference because either way he is going to be fucking pissed off and gutted that you didn’t wait to see how it ended up with him..

if you still then REALLY wanna do the other guy, why not just see if your boyfriend likes him too and do him together! OR SPLIT UP!

    end preach.

  8. Immediately… if not before said break is spoken about. Chances are it’s been a while in the making.
