Proposition 8 protest

Filed under: Uncategorized — ononehand @ 9:21 pm

On November 4, Californians passed Proposition 8, re-banning gay marriage at the end of a multi-million dollar campaign funded the LDS church, the Knights of Columbus and several other out-of-state religious organizations.

I think all Californians should write letters to the Mormon Cathedral in Salt Lake City notifying them of noise ordinance violations on their block and asking them to fix the potholes down the street since the church has now accepted the divine charge of governance of California.

I also think they should write to every local church that endorsed Prop. 8 with the same message, and picket divorce courts for threatening the sanctity of marriage.

  1. If you really want to fuck them… aren’t churches not allowed to be involved in the political process in risk of losing their non profit status?

    • They can’t donate funds directly but they are allowed to raise funds.
